Community Service – Investing in Our Communities

We strongly believe in investing in the communities in which we practice.

Our investment is exemplified through our service on committees and boards of non-profit organizations and charities, our financial contributions to organizations, and our pro bono representation of clients in certain matters.

We are proud that a number of our attorneys have given significantly of their talents in the public sector during their careers.  Our attorneys include former Oregon Deputy Attorneys General, former Oregon Solicitors General, former Oregon Assistant Attorneys General, and a former General Counsel of the University of Oregon.  That service and history have become a fundamental part of our firm culture.

Our Contributions to Charitable and Non-Profit Organizations

Our attorneys regularly contribute to charitable and non-profit organizations with their time, money, and expertise. From promoting professional ethics to supporting families and children in need, we understand that we are not only stewards of our clients’ interests, we are stewards of our communities. Everyone at Harrang Long plays a part in making our communities better by donating their time and/or talents, but here are a few examples of our contributions:

  • Campaign for Equal Justice
  • Lane County Legal Aid
  • Multnomah Bar Foundation
  • Classroom Law Project
  • Oregon Minority Lawyers Association
