Bob Steringer Elected to the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation
Harrang Long Gary Rudnick P.C. (HLGR) is pleased to announce that Bob Steringer, a firm shareholder and Vice-President based in the Portland office, was recently elected to The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation.
The American Bar Foundation is dedicated to advancing justice through research in law, legal processes, and its impact on society. In support of this process, The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation is an honorary organization of lawyers, judges and legal scholars whose careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession. Membership in The Fellows is limited to one-third of one percent of the lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction of the United States.
Mr. Steringer represents private and public clients in matters at the intersection of law and public policy. Drawing on experience inside and outside government, he advises clients on matters including constitutional law, government regulation and licensing, political law and claims against government bodies. Mr. Steringer also works with business clients to resolve disputes in a wide variety of matters, including ownership disputes, products liability, professional liability, and breaches of contracts.
He currently serves as a member of the Multnomah Bar Association’s (“MBA”) Board of Directors and is Chair of the Oregon State Bar (“OSB”) Constitutional Law Section. He previously served as Chair of the MBA Professionalism Committee, was a member of the OSB’s Public Service Advisory Committee, and was a member of the MBA Pro Bono Task Force. Mr. Steringer is a graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law.
