HLGR’s Pete Shepherd Shares Lessons re: Oregon Statutory Law

The Willamette Law Review recently published a brief article by Pete Shepherd titled, “Oregon State Statutory Interpretation: Blind to History, But Useful in Application.” It uses HLGR’s experience in developing SB 412 in the last session of the Legislative Assembly to illustrate the utility and some of the limitations of the Oregon Supreme Court’s standards for interpreting the meaning of Oregon statutory law.
