Harrang Long Gary Rudnick P.C. is pleased to announce that Jason Yarashes – who was a summer associate last year – has joined the firm as a full-time associate in our Portland office.
Before joining HLGR, Jason clerked for the County Attorney at Multnomah County, where he analyzed legal problems and drafted legal documents in response to agency client requests. Jason also worked for a small Portland law firm specializing in employment, where he honed his interpersonal professional skills by speaking with clients daily about potential legal claims. In addition, Jason performed legal services for numerous organizations throughout law school, including the Farmworker Program, a statewide program of Legal Aid Services of Oregon.
Jason has a J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School, where he graduated with honors, served as the “Notes & Comments” editor of the Lewis & Clark Law Review, and was a three-year recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship for Excellence, as well as the Pro Bono Honors Award. Jason also has a B.A. in Government from the College of William and Mary, where he was recognized as one of seven young adults in the graduating class for their “outstanding contributions to the College.”
