Of Counsel attorney with HLGR, Dave Frohnmayer was recently given the James B. Conant Award of Merit in Education from Delta Upsilon International Fraternity.
The award is named in honor of James B. Conant, a pioneer in the field of education. Conant was an American chemist, president of Harvard College, a member of the U.S. Army during WWI, and the first U.S. Ambassador to West Germany, as well as a member of Delta Upsilon. During Conant’s presidency at Harvard, women were admitted to Harvard Medical School and Harvard Law School for the first time and he is considered to be one of the greatest presidents in Harvard’s history.
Frohnmayer received the honor in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 3, 2013 in recognition of his extraordinary contributions to higher education. Delta Upsilon is a premier men’s fraternity committed to Building Better Men for a global society through service, leadership development, and lifelong personal growth.
