Appellate Tips for Litigators: Planning Trials for Success on Appeal

The program will address the entire life of a case–from intake to the Oregon Supreme Court. Seasoned practitioners and appellate judges will provide helpful tips and traps to avoid on important procedural and substantive issues, with an eye toward succeeding on appeal. Hosted by the Oregon Law Institute of Lewis & Clark Law School, this event is available for 6.5 general MCLE credits and will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland (and is also available via webcast).
