Vaden Francisco is a business and estate planning attorney who deeply enjoys advocating for businesses, individuals, veterans, and those who simply need a friend to help them navigate their legal issues. His diverse background as a business manager and owner, legislative aide, and prosecuting attorney give him great insight into the varying needs of his clients. In particular, he is well versed in small business matters, including succession planning, wills and estates, and he knows how to ensure that companies are well protected in the marketplace.
A licensed helicopter pilot and aviation small business operator, Vaden also has a unique perspective on the aviation industry and all the regulations affecting those operations. And, as the son of an Army officer, he understands the personal commitments and professional regulations affecting our veterans. He is a passionate advocate for those who have served and will do all he can to ensure veterans receive their benefits and what is owed them for their service.
In 2001, Vaden went to work for Heli-Trade Corporation, an FAA Repair Station and Bell Helicopter Customer Service Facility. There he served in many capacities as he worked closely with his father, a retired Lt. Col. in the US Army and decorated Vietnam helicopter pilot. Vaden served as president of Heli-Trade until the company was sold in early 2012.
Before joining HLGR, Vaden also worked for the Missouri State Senate as a legislative aide, worked for the Lane County District Attorney as a deputy district attorney, and managed his own business law firm in Eugene. Suffice it to say, Vaden has seen legal challenges from many angles and is well positioned to help business owners and individuals with their needs.
Vaden is a member of the Oregon State Bar and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. He also sits on the Eugene Airport Advisory Committee as well as is the Chairperson for the Oregon State Bar’s Professional Liability Committee for Region 2.
